I don't know if that was actually a question, but its flat colour sections, with the sections shaded with a soft brush (while magic wanded so that the edge stays crisp) and then there's a texture over the whole thing. I think it's a carpet texture this time.
...another reason why I need photoshop, i try to do that in painter and the paintbrush reads that the transparent areas are black-filled and start dirtying the colour.
